POLICE MISCONDUCT & BRUTALITY
“The greater the power, the more dangerous the abuse.”The United States is a nation of laws, and it is essential that law enforcement agencies administer these laws fairly and evenly. Your civil rights may have been violated if you are a victim of false arrest, the use of excessive force, or an unjustified police shooting.
And when those entrusted with authority overstep their bounds, we are committed to holding them accountable and seeking compensation for their victims.
Victims sometimes feel like the deck is stacked against them. Nevertheless, our firm has been successful in holding cities, counties, and police officers accountable for more than twenty five years:
- $6,045,000: Wrongful arrest case involving innocent individuals who were falsely arrested of crimes they did not commit. After expenses of $59,946 and attorneys’ fees of $2,394,666, the plaintiffs received $3,590,388. (See related articles)
